I take the Allett wherever I go—from road workouts to last-minute grocery runs.

Maybe this has happened to you: You go out for an exhilarating run, your Spotify shuffle plays all the right songs on the uphills, and your entire body resets and refreshes. When you get home, you drink a tall glass of chocolate milk, shower and change into street clothes, and head to the grocery store because, heck, you’re so inspired after that run you’re going to bake Shalane Flanagan and Elyse Kopecky’s Superhero Muffins today and you need to buy beets.

When you’re ready to check out and drive back home, you reach for your wallet to whip out your credit card. But there’s a problem. What credit card? And where’s your driver’s license?

Suddenly, it dawns on you: you left your ID and Visa in the pocket of your running shorts. Which you tossed into the laundry basket. Which you then emptied into the washing machine before leaving your apartment.

You leave your cart with customer service (you were so invigorated after the run, you just had to grab more than beets as you sauntered down the aisles), race to your car, turn the ignition, and drive as fast as legally possible to retrieve your laundered cards so a cop won’t stop you for speeding. Lest you forget, you’re driving without your license.

Well the humiliation, panic, and inner turmoil stops here. And it’s all because I’m the proud owner of an Allett Hybrid Card Wallet.

This durable sweatproof wallet is slim enough to slide into my running shorts’ pocket or the sorry excuse for a ladies’ jeans pocket (a true achievement, since it’s still a mystery why pockets on women’s wear are abysmally small or nonexistent). It can fit up to 10 cards, and it has non-slip grips so they won’t fall out. There’s also a hidden compartment to store a Micro-Pen, which you can buy with the wallet or purchase separately. I use to own a beefy leather thing that was too thick and cumbersome to carry. The Allett has now taken the new role as my everywhere-I-go wallet. Safe to say, I won’t leave it in my shorts pocket before I head out for a grocery run. It gives me peace of mind, especially when all I have is muffins on the brain.
